Victory is Calling
We present to you a summary of the student programme
We present to you a summary of the student programme.
Slavija, thank you for this evening that we shall never forget!
Tonight we have pulled off the grandest gathering of this campaign. Thank you to everyone who came, who travelled for hours, who stood with us, and who believed that we shall once again fill out Slavija Square in this way.
We ask all citizens to disperse peacefully after the gathering, and to not allow any kind of provocation to spoil the evening. Look after one another and get home safely.
The election silence period is ahead of us. Until Sunday, let people talk about Slavija tonight, about all the people who were here, about smiles, embraces, and emotions we shared. Tonight, we saw once again how many of us there are and how much everything we’ve been through together means to us.
Thank you for tonight. See you on Sunday!
Closing remarks of the gathering
Our hosts ended by saying:
Dear fellow citizens, thank you for coming so that we can make history together!
Because the way we are on Sunday is the way we’ll be forever!
Long live the students!
Long live freedom!
Long live Serbia!

Our candidates had a message

Tihomir Stanić on the judiciary:
We stand for a judiciary and prosecution service free from personal interests and political pressure!
We’re all tired of not standing as equals before the law!
Serbia deserves freedom, justice, and accountability!
Marija Maruna on urban planning and infrastructure:
We stand for a safe, high-quality construction of roads, water systems, and sewer networks that meet the needs of every citizen!
We’ve all had enough of irresponsible, nontransparent spending of public money, and paying dearly for it!
Serbia deserves a strong and safely built foundation!
Ana Dimitrijević on education:
We stand for an education system that gives everyone an equal opportunity to learn well, not so they can memorise more easily but so that they can ask questions more readily!
We’re all tired of people leaving the country because jobs here go to those with party membership cards, rather than to those with knowledge and ability.
Serbia deserves ever new generations of critical thinkers!
Aleksandra Štimac on healthcare:
We stand for accessible medicine and a doctor in every village because we believe that health must not depend on where you live or what financial circumstances you find yourself in!
We’re all tired of endless waiting lists that prove healthcare isn’t accessible to everyone!
Serbia deserves to be healthy!
Zlatko Kokanović about the environment:
We believe that everyone who poisons our clean air and water and contaminates our fertile land must be held accountable under the law, because we all deserve to live life to the fullest! [srb. ‘punim plućima’ lit. ‘with full lungs’]
We’ve had enough of foreign investors plundering, exploiting, and destroying our natural environment!
Serbia deserves to have her resources protected!
Aleksandar Vasov on agriculture:
We stand for a country that listens to farmers, the people who feed us, protect us from droughts, floods and wildfires, because their hard work must never be left to chance!
We have all had enough of our villages being forgotten, of our farmers and their demands being ignored!
Serbia deserves to be able to feed itself!
Jugoslav Risitić on workers' rights:
We stand for the protection of workers from employer abuse, for employment based on professional qualifications, and for dignified working conditions!
We have all had enough of Serbia being exploited as cheap labor, stripped of its rights and denied a voice to protest!
Serbia deserves to be a country where labour has value!
Dejan Šoškić addresses the crowd about the economy:
We stand for investing in knowledge that will strengthen the domestic economy and enable every citizen to live a dignified life, because you are the ones who earned your own wages and pensions!
We have all had enough of public money being wasted and secret contracts being signed behind our backs!
Serbia deserves to be a prosperous country!
Milena Božović Mančić talks about the media:
We stand for free and independent media governed by the truth, so that a society accustomed to the evil machinery of propaganda can finally recover!
We have all had enough of public broadcasters without the public! Serbia deserves to know everything!
Milena Petrović speaks about Kosovo and Metohija:
We stand for respecting the Constitution and preserving our institutions from Subotica to Prizren, and or the protection of our people both inside and outside of Serbia! We have all had enough of giving away our land and betraying our people!
Serbia deserves that we fight for her!
Joint oath — Ilija Srdanović
A seat in Parliament is public service!
Whoever holds it must know who they are serving!
We know who we are serving!
The mandate belongs to all of you — the people!
Serbia is winning because STUDENTS ARE WINNING!

Victory is Calling — Students Are Walking to Slavija Once Again!
Do you remember those roads, the exhaustion soon forgotten, the people who welcome us, and the feeling that, step by step, we had crossed something together that seemed impossible? It’s time to set off again. Victory is calling!
Students are setting off on their journey once again. Just like before, through towns and villages, across kilometers that bring people together and erase all distances. Once again, a succession of footsteps, reunions and hugs follows. Once again, the familiar feeling is reborn that no matter how long the journey, no one walks it alone.
This time, all roads lead to Belgrade, to Slavija Square. Students and citizens from across Serbia are coming to the final gathering, with the same wish and the same determination. Those who have not given up, who have persevered, and who believe that together we can bring about change, are coming.
Victory is calling. From the north, from the east, and from the west. And at Slavija, we will meet again.
See you at Slavija!
Victory is calling! Answer the call!
22.10. at 18.00.
